Hey Y’all! Welcome to another week of What’s for Dinner! this week as always I’m sharing some of our favorites with some recipes that are new to us! I hope you all give thess a try and let me know what you think of them!

RECIPES ARE LISTED BELOW!!

HOMEMADE HOT DOG SAUCE
1 1/2 LB Ground Beef or Turkey
1 CUP Onion
1/2 tsp Sugar
Paprika
Salt
Pepper
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 T Tomato Paste
1/4 CUP Ketchup
1 CUP Water ( add an extra 1/2 CUP if you don’t use beer )
1/4 CAN Beer ( optional )

DIRECTION
Add meat to a large skillet and cook thoroughly
Then 1 CUP onion and salute
Then add all dry ingredients and stir till well combined
Lastly add Worcestershire Sauce, Tomato Paste, Ketchup, Water, Beer if using and let simmer till it reduces to about half

CROCKPOT APRICOT CHICKEN
1 LB Chicken
Brown Sugar
Onion
Apricot Preserve
Soy Sauce
Salt & Pepper

DIRECTION
Add Chicken to Crockpot with Brown Sugar, Onion, Apricot Preserves, Soy Sauce, Salt and Pepper
Let cook for 6-8 hours on low
Take 2 CUPS of sauce from the crockpot and mix in corn starch and 2 T Brown Sugar. Cook til it thickens. Add back into the crockpot.
Shred and Serve over rice
