Samgak Kimbap two ways: Tuna Mayo / Vegan Spicy Tofu | Kosher & Gluten free recipe

Hi friends!
Today I’m sharing my samgak kimbap recipe! In Korea (and Japan, Taiwan or China) you can easily find those triangle kimbap at the convenience stores, but its also very easy to make it at home. And its perfect for lunch box!
All you need is those spesific nori sheets. You can buy it online (here is a great deal: shorturl.at/hmBYZ ) or at any asian grocery store.

The recipe: (for about 6 kimbaps)
– 3 cups cooked short grain rice (my recipe: )
– 1 tbsp sesame oil
– 1 tsp salt
mix well and set aside

For the tuna mayo filling:
– 1 can of tuna, strained from the oil
– 1 tbsp chopped onion
– 1.5 tbsp mayo
mix and set aside.

For the vegan spicy tofu filling:
– 1 tbsp chopped onion
– 1 chopped glove of garlic
– 70 grams of crumbled tofu
– 1 tbsp olive oil
Pan fry it for 5 minutes on a medium heat.

– 0.5 tbsp gochujang
– 0.5 tsp corn syrup (or date syrup)
– 0.5 tsp soy sauce
– 0.5 tbsp water
mix well and add it to the pan. mix all and take off from the stove. set aside until its cooled down.

The assembly:
– nori sheets for smagak kimbap (shorturl.at/hmBYZ )
– roasted sesame seeds

Put the nori sheep when the prety part faced down, put the mold as I’m showing in the video. Add 1.5 tbsp rice, 1 tbsp filling and and more rice to cover. sprinkle sesame seeds and close it well (I’m showing it all in the video ^^ )
