Mexican Syrup
1 Piloncillo
1/2 Cup Water
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tbs Vanilla
Bring to a boil on Medium Heat. Stir every few minutes until Piloncillo deletes into water. Cook 15-20 minutes. Let rest 10-15 Minutes and stir a few times. We want to make sure syrup is room temp before use.

Pecan Pie Mexican Style
Pre-made Pie Crust
2 Cups Chopped Pecans
3 Large eggs + 1 Egg Yolk (Save egg white for Pecan Candies)
1 Cup Of Mexican Syrup or (1/2 Cup Corn Syrup/ 1/4 Cup Molasses)
1 Tbs Vanilla
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup AP Flour
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 cup Real Butter

For all my friends that like alcohol in their pies.
2 Tbs Presidente (Brandy)
Or
2 Tbs Kahlua Coffee Liquor

Bake at 350 45-60 Minutes (Cook time will vary as mentioned in the video)
Make sure to have a baking sheet below your pie to prevent any spillage. Please be careful and let this pie rest 2-3 Hrs

Mexican Pecan Candies
1-2 cups Pecans
1 Egg White
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon Vanilla
1 Tablespoon Water
New Mexico chili powder or Cayenne pepper to taste
Optional: 1/4 of remaining Mexican Syrup

Bake at 250 Degrees for 30-45 Minutes
Mix every 10-15 Minutes
