EASY SUHOOR HACKS | VEGAN / VEGETARIAN BREAKFAST | 3 POT SLOW COOKER FAMILY MEAL

Salaam, for this video, I show you how to make an easy vegetarian (or vegan if you take out eggs) breakfast that you can prepare the night before. I am not vegan/veg but I love this type of healthy food. I will show you the machines that I use to make life much easier. These machines are not very expensive and they last for years. The slow cooker also uses up less electricity than a normal oven, and saves you a lot of time in the kitchen. A win-win situation! You can also use this cooking method for Iftar (dinner) or any meal outside of Ramadan.

Egyptian Foul / Ful Recipe:
Take 2 cups small fava beans, and soak overnight in room temperature water for 24 hours (leave unpeeled)
Next, cook the fava beans in a pressure cooker for 60 minutes with 1:2 ratio of beans to water.
Add ingredients to the cooked foul as you like. Examples: Salt, garlic salt, tomatoes, olive oil, onions, spices (examples: cumin, black pepper), etc. Mash the foul with a fork and serve with flat bread and extra olive oil to dip. (You can find better and more complicated recipes online. This is just one quick example)
