Air fryer okra Ninja Foodi Grill recipe. Make crispy fried okra with NO FLOUR OR CORNMEAL using just a tablespoon or two of oil in your air fryer for a delicious healthy snack. I seasoned the okra with lemon pepper and it was delicious! This lemon pepper air fryer okra makes a tasty low carb dish.
This will work in any air fryer, just adjust the cooking time and temperature to suit your needs.
Fried okra, Bhindi, bhindi fry, bhindi recipe, Ninja Foodi Grill recipe,
1 pound of okra, washed and dried
1-2 tablespoons of canola or grapeseed oil (or other high heat cooking oil)
1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt
1 tablespoon of lemon pepper
OPTIONAL season with Furikake (Japanese rice seasoning) after cooking
Preheat your AIRFRYER to 425 degrees.
Cut the okra and drizzle it with oil. Season okra with kosher salt and lemon pepper.
Air fry the okra for 6 to 8 minutes until it is crispy and a bit browned. Cook the okra in batches, don’t overcrowd the air fryer.
If your 1st batch has gotten soft while the 2nd batch is cooking just toss the 1st batch in with the 2nd and heat it for 30 seconds to a minute until it’s crispy again.
